Barn Site Services
Includes full access to the Upper Bank Barn from 9:00 a.m. to midnight
Maximum 150 guests
Six-hour event. This is the time from the beginning of the ceremony until the reception concludes and guests leave the venue. Guests must depart by 11:00 p.m.
We provide up to 72” round tables and mahogany colored Chiavari chairs for up to 150 guests. Placement of tables and chairs included.
A 15’x15’ wood dance floor is provided.

Newly constructed, spacious and rustic restroom building with handicapped accessible facilities and total of three restroom stalls with handmade metal sink.
The Milk Parlor, a welcome place on the lower level of the barn for your guests to gather and enjoy appetizers and a cocktail following the ceremony. This amazing space is creatively lit to showcase the stone wall, the bark-covered ceiling joists and hand-hewn beams. An eighteen-foot handmade ash farm table runs down the center of the space graced with vintage metal chairs and stools to add warmth and a festive celebratory atmosphere.
You may bring in your own alcohol, but you are required to use our bartenders (extra fee based on guest count and what is served), Canyon Run Bartending, www.crafteventbar.com
You can select the caterer of your choice, but they must be licensed, we do not have kitchen facilities
Outdoor landscape lighting
Fire pit lit at dusk at your request, seating area along a rock wall backed by perennials
Use of two commercial grade portable air cooling units available on hot summer days and four 30” oscillating, quiet wall fans
Use of large propane heaters available if needed, fuel included
Live music, DJ or playlist is allowed. Music must played at a reasonable volume throughout the event and must be either off by 10:30 or turned down to a background music level, and must conclude at 11:00 p.m.
You have until midnight to remove all of your decorations and place all trash and recyclables in the bins between the barns. Clean up staff handles the tear down of the tables and chairs.
Your caterers should take away their trash prior to departure.
Please adhere to the midnight deadline and be sure that all trash/recyclables are placed in the appropriate bins.

Guests may leave their cars overnight, but they must be picked up by 11:00 a.m. the following morning.

Ceremony Site Services, The Woods
There is a dressing room and restroom for the exclusive use of wedding party, photographer, stylist etc. Available for up to 2-1/2 hours prior to the ceremony.
Prior to the ceremony, please remove all of your personal items from the dressing rooms, no reentry
In the lower bank barn are four dressing stalls that are available for use as changing rooms
The Woods: Walk up the path and through a ten-acre field of native Ohio wildflowers to reach The Woods. Exchange your wedding vows under a canopy of trees on top of a high scenic ridge overlooking the canyon on each side. A corkscrew willow sculpture provides the arbor and gives structure to the woods. Quiet and secluded this space wood benches for guest seating.
VIP parking in the grass lot outside of the woods for handicapped and elder guests
Two 6-passenger limo shuttle carts are available from 9:00 a.m. to 1-1/2 hours following the ceremony. You provide responsible drivers.
The ceremony site is set up with wooden benches for up to 150 guests.
All outdoors areas are treated with natural insect repellant to keep the mosquitos at bay
If you prefer an open setting, there is a garden area close to the barn. A natural stone stairway leads to a grassy area that backs up to the creek. Not available when the ground is too wet. You would need to provide your own seating and arbor for this area

Other items of Note
This is strictly a non-smoking venue. This is a historic barn, built in the 1850’s. Smoking should be confined to the fire pit area where containers for butts can be found.
No open flames in the barn. You may use battery-operated candles, if candlelight is desired.
No glitter or small metallic confetti.
If you wish to use wedding confetti, please use the type that will disintegrate as soon as it gets wet, or birdseed. No balloons, rice, traditional confetti or other non-eco-friendly material.
No RV’s or large trailers
We have a list of vendors that have provided services at other weddings for your reference. Booking your event A non-refundable deposit of $1500.00 is needed to reserve your date. The remaining balance is divided into three equal payments due at approximately equal intervals from the date you pay your deposit until two weeks prior to your event. A damage deposit of $250 will be added to your final payment, and is refundable within 14 days following your event, assuming no damages or outstanding balances. We ask that payments be made by check and mailed to Canyon Run Ranch, 395 N. Rangeline Rd., Pleasant Hill, OH 45359. We also accept Venmo for payment. Venmo is a free app owned by PayPal that allows for free money transfers. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if payments are not received within 30 days of the due date. We reserve the right to make changes to services, as needed. No refunds will be issued. All payments are non-refundable. In signing this agreement, you are assuming full responsibility for all damages, expenses, and losses, including theft and property loss caused by any person who attends, participates in, or provides goods and services connected with the use of the facility and all property. The responsible party must have an active homeowner’s insurance policy. Any liability claims against Canyon Run Ranch, LLC cannot exceed the cost of services.
