Your $2,000 reservation deposit is applied toward the rental fee above — it is part of the total, not an addition to it. Rates cover the venue only; catering, bar service, and your other vendors are contracted separately.
What a day here looks like
- Exclusive use of the ceremony and reception areas during your event hours

- Golf-cart shuttle for guests between the ceremony and the barn
- 150 chivari chairs with ivory cushions, dining tables, and our vintage furniture collection — no rental fee
- Our curated decor collection — table numbers, lanterns, vases and vessels, easels, signs and centerpiece pieces. Just add flowers.
- Tables and chairs set up to the floor plan we draw up with you
- Engagement photos on the property once you've booked — arrange a time with us and bring your own photographer
- A vendor open house for newly booked couples
How payment works
When you book
A $2,000 deposit, due with your signed agreement. This is part of your rental fee, not an extra charge — it comes off the total.
Before the wedding
The rest of your rental fee, split into three payments on a schedule we set when you book. The last one is due 30 days before your date.
With that last payment
A refundable $500 damage deposit. We send it back within 14 days after the wedding, as long as nothing is damaged or left behind.
Accepted payment
Venmo, personal check, or cash. We do not accept credit cards. Venmo payments must not be sent using Purchase Protection (Goods & Services), and any processing fees are the couple's responsibility.
Bar & DJ
Craft Event Bar Collective handles all alcohol service and DJ/emcee services at Canyon Run Ranch. Outside bartenders and self-service alcohol are not permitted.
Catering
You'll hire a licensed, full-service caterer who serves, busses, and cleans up. Drop-off catering is not permitted, and service can't fall to family or the wedding party.
Deposits & cancellation
All payments made to Canyon Run Ranch, including the reservation deposit, are non-refundable. When we hold your date, we stop offering it to every other couple who asks — often more than a year ahead. Should you cancel for any reason, all monies paid are retained by the venue.
This applies to every couple. We'd rather you know it clearly now than discover it later. Requests to postpone, transfer, or reschedule are considered case by case at our discretion, and granting one doesn't waive this policy.
Please also note that missing a scheduled payment is a breach of the agreement and can result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of everything paid to that point. If you ever see a problem coming, call us before the due date.
Please insure your day
We encourage every couple to buy wedding event insurance as soon as they book. It is what protects you if severe weather, illness, a vendor cancellation, transportation delays, or another unforeseen event forces a change — it covers what our policy cannot.
The agreement also asks the responsible party to carry an active homeowner's or renter's liability policy.
